Karen and Rob wanted desparately to get some pictures done of their one and only in time for the holidays. We think they came out great and hope that everyone enjoyed them as much as we enjoyed having you over. Happy Holidays to you and your family!
We received a call this afternoon from Yvonne who really wanted to get some pictures done as Grandma was in town and before heading out on holiday. Of course we were more than happy to oblige and 2 hours later, they were here!
You see, with college starting soon, everyone is about to go their own path and this shoot meant getting everyone together for a big hurrah before then.
Thanks for letting us be a part, Yvonne - you have a beautiful family!
A bittersweet week this time around as we said farewell to some friends who are moving off to Canada. At least they are doing it in the summer time so they won’t have to deal with frozen car door locks and the like when they get up there.
As a sendoff, we treated the Janico family to a shoot in the studio so that they would have some pictures to show the grand parents once they reached Toronto.
Keep in touch, eh?
So we did a heart-touching shoot today for a set of twins named Ian and Caitlin. They were absolutely adorable and definitely put up with us as we snapped away.
While taking pictures of children is always rewarding (note to parents, never worry if a little one gets excited or sad or just wants to play, we always try to keep our shoots fun!)… but this shoot was all the more special because of the strength of little Caitlin.
Without going into too much detail, let’s just say that Caitlin (and family) are active in the Little Hearts Organization (click here to learn more)…
We learned a lot this weekend… and were ever thankful for our time together. If you have the time or capacity, we would encourage everyone to consider charitable groups such as Little Hearts or the Make a Wish foundation.
